Europe Experts Science PLIST

Europe Experts Science PLIST :
Supporters for: "European No- Campaign" : "An EU Constitution must be the result of a process that is initiated and supported by the people"

Experts / EU- constitution

2004, 2005: "European No- Campaign"
  • Supporters of the concept: "An EU Constitution must be the result of a process that is initiated and supported by the people."
  • These are mostly experts on possible alternate views related to the EU Constitution. It is very probable that none of them got EU funding for this engagement. Journalists should always also contact experts who are not paid in one way or other for their analysis contribution to mainstream opinions.
  • The author of this text page is neutral and is just reporting these list facts and quotations.
  • Please communicate rectification wishes if any, to: ok @ vox7.com

"Independent cross-party network :" Now some quotations (the author of this text does nowhere add own opinions):
  • "Independent cross-party network :"
    The European No Campaign (ENC)
is an independent, cross party network of parties and NGOs which will bring together ‘no’ campaigners and supporters of EU reform in a Europe-wide network.
  • Single purpose activity :
The ENC has been set up to co-ordinate anti-Constitution activity. It has a simple objective: to maximize the ‘no’ vote in every EU referendum on the Constitution. After the last referendum has been held we will close it down.
  • Different views - one focus
The ENC supporters represent different views on Europe’s future. The ENC will not look to influence the reform debate. Its single purpose is to stop the proposed Constitution. What happens afterwards is up to Europe’s people and politicians.
  • -- ---
  • REMARK Supporters of the ENC network may have different reasons WHY this project must be stopped. But all of them believe that the negative consequences of the EU Constitution outnumber the positive aspects and therefore this proposal must be rejected.
  • - The ENC is a cross party campaign. To be on the same list of supporters does not mean that the signatories agree on anything else but the single issue of opposing the proposed EU Constitution.
  • - Apart from that all individuals named on the list, support the European No Campaign in their private capacity.
